I’ve always loved beautiful things, whether that be beautiful interiors, fabric, colour, fashion, nature, music, food - weaving them into my life helps to create my 'happy place'.
Starting Cocohills more than 9 years ago was a great way for me to be involved in creating gorgeous interiors every day for my customers, which was a huge change from my previous corporate life! Whether it be furnishing a new living/ dining space, fitting out an entire beach house or creating the perfect teenage hangout area, no two spaces are the same, but each just as rewarding to create as the next.
I love to start with one or two key (fabulous) pieces and then create the rest of the room around this, adding in pieces that compliment my customers lifestyle. I do love furniture to be functional, but it must look great too. A home is an extension of the people who live there so every element of the interior needs to resonate with their DNA so to speak!
I found the perfect site for my store on Remuera’s main road 9 years ago and although it may not be huge in size, it’s big on personality - a real boutique experience. You can browse for the ultimate chair, select sumptuous cushions or entrust me to create the cosiest of rooms - I make it my mission to create a space you are proud of and I’m happy to work alongside other Designers also.
